What can you say to the objection that an SCL environment can be noisy and unwieldy?

The student centered learning environment is the learning area wherein learner do the learning and the teacher are just facilitating, In Student Centered Learning the learner has much talk in the discussion than the teacher, because the teacher letting the students to think and express their own thoughts to the class and almost the students are the one who made the discussions done.

It is naturally in student centered learning environment to be noisy and unwieldy because of the active and participation of students in the class discussion. In the discussion process, learners are sharing, and exchanging their ideas, collaborating and brainstorming to come up with a good learning outcome and solve things right. So the classes tend to become noisy and unwieldy then it’s okay if the setting is like this because the students become more interactive in the class discussion and it will let the learner learn effectively but the role of the teacher is to guide and facilitate the learning of the learner so he/she must strategic plan in order to manage the class. So in Student Centered Learning environment the teacher must be prepared of his /her plan in order to avoid unwieldy and manage the class smoothly while they are learning. If the teacher can do so, he/she can come up with the teaching effectiveness and efficiency for the learners to learn. And it’s not of being noisy and unwieldy of the class, it is on how the learners are learning. Despite of the noisy environment in SCL, the knowledge gain will be observed from the class.
